The purpose of the Background Report is to provide a base of knowledge for the RODEO project.
The data collection is based on questionnaires and research among partners in the participating countries: Turkey, Romania, Italy and Denmark.
The report is providing statistics on traffic accidents and the state of traffic education in the involved countries.
The contents of this report will create a foundation for development of new digital technologies, and thereby empower secondary schools with methods for teaching road safety. In the end, this will enhance road civic and safety education in secondary schools.
